  1. How can I create a new profile on the CatholicMatri.com?
     

Posting your matrimonial profile on CatholicMatri.com is very easy. You how to do this:-

  • Direct Registration

Click on the 'Register' button on the Main page and start filling the form with all mandatory fields.

 

  1. How do I verify my Email ID and confirm my Registration?

 

Once you successfully enter all the required details for Registration you will get a message on the screen to confirm your email. Log in to the provided email and click on the link to verify. If for some reason the link does not open up, copy and paste the link in your favorite browser.

 

A CatholicMatri login page will appear wherein you have to log in using the email id and password you provided while registering. Congrats! Your email has been successfully verified if the login is successful.

 

  1. How do I edit my matrimonial profile?

 

    • Login in to your CatholicMatri.com Account using your preferred method

    • Navigate through the following Menu options - Profile > Edit Profile

    • For ease of use your Profile has been divided in to following sections:-

  • Basic Information section - Name, Gender, Birthday, Mobile Number, Current & Permanent Address

  • Profile View - About Me, Lifestyle and Family details

  • Partner Preference - Basic, Cultural, Career & Lifestyle habits

  • Church Reference & Documents - Church details and Documents to be uploaded

Edit your personal profile according to the instructions provided and click the 'Submit' button at the end of the form.

 

  1. Why can't I modify some details while Editing my Profile?

 

There are some details on your Profile which cannot be changed directly by you and can be changed only by our Admin team on request with documentary proof of the same. This has been done to maintain the quality of experience you will get on our site. The fields which cannot be modified by you are:-

 

    • First Name and Last Name (Identity Proof with Names to be emailed for rectification)

    • Gender (Identify Proof with Gender to be emailed for rectification)

    • Date of Birth (Identity Proof with Date of Birth to be emailed for rectification)

 

Photo Identity Proof like Passport Copy or UID is preferred and will be processed faster. Such Change requests and relevant Documents should be mailed to admin@catholicmatri.com

 

  1. How do I make my Profile 100% Complete?

 

Percentages have been allocated to different sections as under:-

  • Basic Information 10%

  • Information on Yourself 10%

  • Information on Your Lifestyle 10%

  • Family Details 15%

  • Partner Preference 15%

  • Picture 25%

  • Baptism Certificate 5%

  • Residence Address Proof 5%

  • Photo Identity Proof 5%

Within the sections themselves, when all the fields are entered the full section % is applied.

 

Tip - Remember that when a Profile is completed 100% it gets a 'Verified' tag and such Profiles appear on top in Searches. This increases your chances of finding a better match.

 

  1. Will everyone be able to View all my details?

 

No. While all other details will be visible to everyone on the site, the below details will not be visible unless you approve of it:-

  • Mobile Number

  • Email ID

  • Current Address

  • Permanent Address

The above details can be seen by one only when their 'Express Interest' request has been approved by you.

 

  1. How will I be able to Chat with another User?

 

You will be able to Chat with another User when you add her / him as your Contact and they accept it. You can add a User as a Contact by clicking on the 'Invite User' button available on the right of the View Profiles screen.

 

  1. How do I get most out of CatholicMatri.com?

 

Our experience has shown that Profiles which are 100% Complete in all respects and have Attractive Profile Pictures get the highest number of matches. It just takes a few minutes and with some focus you will be able to get the most out of CatholicMatri.com

 

  1. Can I protect my Photo on CatholicMatri.com?

 

Yes you can protect your Photo any time by clicking on your Profile Picture once you have logged in. On the top of the page click on the 'Protect Photos' link and enter a Password. Your Photo will now appear as Protected and Users will have to 'Request Password' from you to view your Picture. You can then selectively share the Password if you feel comfortable after seeing the Requestor's Profile.

 

Tip - Our experience shows that Profiles with protected Photos attract fewer Matches as Users are interested in seeing the Other Person. Protect your Photo only if you absolutely need it.

 

  1. What is the difference between 'Block User' and 'Ignore User'

 

When you block an User, she / he will not be able to find you in any of their searches. However when you ignore an User you will not be able to find the Ignored User in your searches.

 

Tip - We recommend you use these Block / Ignore User features sparingly and only when you understand and require it.

  1. What are different Search Options available on CatholicMatri.com?

 

Many different types of Searches have been made available for your convenience:-

  • Basic Search - Age, Height, Marital Status, Community, Mother Tongue, Country Living In and Education

  • Advanced Search - Basic Search criteria + Physical Status, Residence Status, Occupation, Income, Citizenship, Eating habits, Smoking habits and Drinking habits

  • Quick Search - Based on a Single criteria you can quickly search for Profiles:-

    • Community

    • Mother Tongue

    • Education

    • Occupation

    • City

    • Country

    • Profile ID

There is no Single search type which is recommended and it really depends on your requirement as to which you would prefer. We recommend you test try all Search types once to know how they work and which best suits you.

 

  1. What does 'CM recommends' mean?

 

'CM Recommends' is our proprietary algorithm which brings out the best matches for you based on our experience and the quality of verified Profiles available with us. We recommend that you View these Profiles and see if they match your requirement.

 

  1. What does 'My Auto Match' mean?

We also give you the option of creating your own match, which you may set by clicking the 'Edit Criteria' link in the 'My Auto Match' section. You may choose one or more of the below criteria to match your requirement:-

  • Country Living in

  • Height

  • Complexion

  • Education

  • Mother Tongue

  • Community

Whenever one or more of the above criteria is selected the User's Partner Preference available in her / his Profile is matched against the selected criteria for Potential Matches and the same is listed in the Auto Match result section.

 

FAQs on Login and Password

 

  1. Why am I not able to Login using my Email ID and Password immediately after Registration?

 

Though you have successfully registered on CatholicMatri.com there is an Email verification which is required before you login. Once you do the verification by using the link sent to your Email, the login screen will appear and you will be able to login successfully.

 

  1. What do I do if I forget my Password?

 

On the CatholicMatri.com Main page there is a link 'Forgot your Password?' which is available just below the Email / Password section used for logging in to the site. Email Id used for registering on the Site should then be entered on the Password Assistance page that opens up.

 

A link will then be sent to your registered Email Id clicking which you can reset your Password easily.
